¡@ The Association for Education through Art, Republic of China, and the Association of Formative Art Education for the Republic of China have begun taking entries for the 35th World Schoolchildren's Art Exhibition. This annual exhibition, which features the work of young artists from all over the world, is an effort to promote mutual understanding and friendship among the younger generation through the exchange of children's art works. The works chosen by the exhibition judges will be on display at the Chung-Cheng Gallery of the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, from October 1-15, 2004. Children ages 6-15 are eligible to send in entries, which should reach the Association for Education through Art, Republic of China by May 1, 2004. Send entries to the Association of Education through Art of the Republic of China, No. 62 Long Jiang Rd., Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. Entries are limited to one entry per child. Acceptable media include oil painting, water color, wood cut prints, pencil sketches, crayon drawings, pastel, collage, etching, graphic design, etc. Works may be up to 55cm x 40cm. Each entry should include the following information: í a) Full name of childí b) Date and place of birthí c) Sex and nationalityí d) Name and address of school or institutionCertificates and medals will be awarded to selected entrants. No artwork will be returned after the exhibition.
